About Me

My name is Diana. I have over 17 years of childcare experience. I have taken courses on Child psychology, Child Development, Developing High Self-Esteem, Biting Anger issues, Child Abuse and Neglect along with many more. I continue to educate myself in child development and child psychology.

I have been married for 8 years. We have three wonderful children. Cyrus is the imaginative and creative artist at 7, Darius is the gymnast and explorer at 5 and Selah is our flirty, creative princess.

I chose to become a childcare provider because...

  1. I love children.
  2. I love to teach.
  3. I could stay home with my own. (This does not mean your child gets less attention. We work as a family and team.) As a child provider I encourage any Mother/Father to stay home with a child at least until the age of 3. Unfortunately, our society does not always allow this to happen, due to economic times or circumstances in our lives.
And...
  4. I wanted to give families peace of mind when they had to be responsible for their families.

At Kozy Kids Childcare I make it a point to have a relationship with the parents. Once in a while, meeting up on the weekend at the water fountain, park, OMSI or just coming over for a BBQ is great fun. It makes the children feel comfortable and secure to see an established relationship with their provider. We are their family away from home. I am certified by the American Red Cross in infant and child CPR and first aid and I recertify annually.
